Very green idea for your chainsaw

I'm off topic again but I found this article this morning and just had to share it with you because it's so very weird-like me.  While searching through some news links I discovered a recommendation to use Canola Oil for your chain saw bar oil to lessen the effect on the environment.  How cool is that?!

I lifted this picture and quote from Eartheasy, Solutions for Sustainable Living:
Canola oil is currently the most common environmentally compatible chain-and-bar lubricant. Canola-based chain and bar oil has been extensively tested in Europe.
You can read the entire article here.  This seems like an inexpensive and earth friendly way to help preserve the environment and you just gotta love that!  Yah, there are gonna be those who are gonna say you should be using a chain saw at all or you shouldn't be cutting down trees or you shouldn't do something, blah blah blah.  All the while their telling you about things you shouldn't do they'll be wearing clothes that were produced in factories etc...

The point is to do your part and this will help.  Every little bit helps, right?  Remember that little ant that moved the mountain one grain of sand at a time...Thanks for stopping by.  Leave a comment if'n you want.

Let's get out there and make it a great day!
